ABOUT LITES

Know us more

LITES, an acronym for the League of Information Technology Education Students, collaborates seamlessly with SITe, denoting the School of Information Technology Education. These two entities have long operated in harmonious synergy, jointly orchestrating the LITES Organization, an entity designed to provide a dedicated and inclusive platform for students pursuing studies in Information Technology (IT) and Computer Science (CS). The organization not only plays a pivotal role in guiding and representing IT and CS students but also extends its support by curating a diverse array of events and activities aimed at enhancing their educational experience.

The LITES Organization assumes the role of a steward, diligently catering to the academic, personal, and social needs of its members. It accomplishes this by offering a wide spectrum of enriching initiatives, including informative webinars to bolster their knowledge, engaging team-building activities to foster camaraderie, and intellectually stimulating competitions that are intricately intertwined with their chosen courses of study.

At the heart of its mission, LITES stands as a welcoming and nurturing haven for IT and CS students, ensuring that their academic journey is not only enriching but also replete with captivating and eventful experiences, thereby sculpting a community of learners who are not only academically adept but also well-rounded individuals poised for success.
